The Teen Advisory Board…
- Helps select materials for the library’s YA collection
- Supplies ideas for library programs
- Helps our library serve teens better

TEEN CLUBS

All teen clubs are open to Nanuet School District residents in 7th through 12th grade. No registration is required to attend club meetings, but be sure to check the library’s website www.Nanuetlibrary.org and go to “Teen Services/Things to do” for any updates or changes.

Video Game Club
Compete with your friends on our Playstation, Wii, or X-Box 360. Other games and activities are also available. We will meet on the following Wednesdays from 2:45-4:15 p.m. upstairs in the Community Room:

Anime & Manga Club
Join us to discuss your favorite anime films and manga series and watch anime on our big screen. We will meet on the following Wednesdays from 2:45-4:15 p.m. upstairs in the Community Room:

Halloween Celebration
Wednesday, October 27, 3:00-4:30 p.m.
We’ll have a scary movie (chosen by the Teen Advisory Board at the Sept. 15 meeting), activities and some horribly good snacks.

Teen Crafts
For 7th-12th Grade
We will meet after school upstairs in the Community Room on the following Mondays. Light snacks provided. Bring your music for inspiration (dock provided):

October 4 - Pumpkin and gourd decorating. Make yours spooky or glittered. We’ll have materials on hand to spark your imagination.

November 1 - Glass painting. Choose either a candle votive or a small vase for a fall arrangment. Either will look great on your Thanksgiving table!

Teen Read Week
October 17-23
We will have the Best YA Books of the Year on display for you to take out. Fill out an entry form at the Adult Reference Desk to vote for your favorite. You’ll get a small gift and will be entered to win a prize basket.
